Statewide workshop on introduction of biometric attendance systems in all State Government offices- Principal Secretary, GAD holds a workshop in 2 sessions (FN and AN) to discuss about the introduction of biometric punching system in all State Government offices. All HoDs are invited for the workshop.

Gandhi Jayanti is a national festival celebrated in India to mark the occasion of the birthday of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. It is celebrated on 2nd October. It is one of the three National Holidays in India.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will hoist the national flag at the Independence Day parade at Central Stadium on August 15, Wednesday.Mr. Vijayan will take the salute of Armed Police Battalions, Civil Police Platoons, Mounted Police squadrons, NCC cadets and Scouts and Guides, Marching Police Bands at the parade ground.

Tom Jose took over as the new chief secretary of the state on Saturday. Outgoing chief secretary Paul Antony and the staff of the chief secretary's office welcomed the new chief secretary by cutting a cake.
